Routes along The Wild Atlantic Way

With over 2,500km of coastal route to discover, we have selected two spectacular routes that are easily explored from the hotel with a private chauffeur, own vehicle or as part of a group. Our team will be delighted to assist you with these options.
Killarney to Slea Head return:
Setting out from Killarney, you will travel to Castlemaine and onto the beautiful Inch Beach and village of Annascaul. The famous Dingle town follows where you can enjoy freshly caught Atlantic seafood in one of the many lovely restaurants and potter around shops displaying local arts and crafts. This Gaeltacht area is steeped in Irish tradition, culture and character. Further west on the Dingle Peninsula you will find Ventry and the spectacular beach of Coumeenoole. Along this route the glorious Blasket Islands – Europe’s last outlook can be viewed and visited. The villages of Dunquin and Ballyferriter are most westerly before turning north east and travelling along the beautiful Conor Pass where Mt. Brandon can be seen. Castlegregory and Tralee Bay are next on route before entering Tralee town and continuing back to Killarney. Slea Head Map
Killarney and the Ring of Kerry return:
Leaving Killarney, you will travel along the Iveragh Peninsula encountering magnificent coastal scenery and rugged mountainous countryside. This route takes you to Killorglin via Glenbeigh before reaching Kells and Caherciveen. Valentia Island, Bray Head and the Skellig Islands can be discovered from this point before travelling onto Waterville, the stunning Derrynane beach and then Sneem. From Sneem you will travel the mountain road to the famous Moll’s Gap and Ladies View before returning for the evening in Killarney. Ring of Kerry Map
